There is good news and bad news. The good news is McKenna improved her time for breaststroke by a couple of seconds, and moved up two or three places in the standings. The bad news is, she is the first alternate which means she probably won't swim. :( Somehow after such dramatic weather last night, this all seems anticlimactic.
P.S. Next year I am going to force her to compete in three strokes instead of just one. I don't know why I let her get away with it this year. You should see her butterfly stroke -- it's beautiful.
