Dang it!

Fourth place. That was what I was afraid of. The problem was her start. They called the girls up to the starting blocks and then . . . nothing. Then they got them in starting position only to make them stand up again. Finally on the third try they actually started the race. But Madison was slow off the blocks. She made up some distance, but not enough. Don't get me wrong. Fourth place out of twelve teams is really good, but it was one place shy of getting a medal. And it is always disappointing to finish lower than you did in the previous race. But overall, what a great season!
